Juanito urges Betis unity

Juanito has urged Real Betis to keep his team-mates Joaquin and Ricardo Oliveira.

Spanish international Juanito has urged Real Betis to keep his team-mates Joaquin and Ricardo Oliveira at the club.

The 30-year-old central defender has recently renewed his deal to stay at the Estadio Manuel Ruiz de Lopera and wants to see the squad remain together for the coming season.

Midfielder Joaquin has been the subject of much speculation, along with striker Oliveira, but Juanito does not want to see Betis cash in on their commodities.

"It will be the best for us to stick together," Juanito explained.

"And also the Brazilian Oliveira. In Betis we need to work together after a difficult last season.

"If it doesn't happen the unity through the team is assured to be problematic."

The Liga club finished in a disappointing 15th position in the league last season and Juanito wants all their stars to be pulling together for the first game of the new season in September.
