Dons snap up Dyer

Milton Keynes Dons have signed Lloyd Dyer on a two-year contract.

Milton Keynes Dons have signed Lloyd Dyer on a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old started his career at West Brom but has cut something of a nomadic figure in recent times.

Loan spells at Kidderminster, Coventry and QPR were followed by a permanent move to Millwall, but he departed The Den after just two months.

He ended last season with Derby but left and has already had a trial with Hull this summer.

However, the MK Dons have moved quickly to finalise a deal with the left-sided midfielder and have now clinched his signing.

The player is delighted to have resolved his future and is looking forward to playing for Martin Allen's side.

"Lloyd is delighted to be joining the club and is relishing the prospect of trying to help the team achieve promotion," Dyer's agent Saif Rubie of Up and Up Sports told skysports.com.

"The team will be moving to a superb new stadium this season and with Martin Allen in charge there should be exciting times ahead."

Allen has already been busy in the transfer market this summer with Dyer representing his fifth capture.
