Darlington have signed former Bradford defender Darren Holloway on a one-year deal. The 28-year-old was released by The Bantams at the end of last season after two seasons at Valley Parade.
Holloway began his career as a trainee with Sunderland in 1995 and had short spells on loan with Bolton and Carlisle before Wimbledon paid £1.2 million for his services in 2000.
The stopper made over 80 appearances in his four years with The Dons but left the club in 2004.
Bradford snapped the free agent up but his two years under Colin Todd came to an end earlier in the summer.
Quakers boss David Hodgson has made Holloway his ninth signing of the summer and he could be in line to make his debut for the club in the League Two opener against Macclesfield at the weekend.
