Mbesuma makes Maritimo move

Maritimo have signed Portsmouth misfit Collins Mbesuma on loan.

The Zambian international has inked a season-long loan deal at the Portuguese outfit.

Mbesuma made just four appearances last season at Fratton Park and is well down the pecking order.

Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is willing to let him leave and Mbesuma is looking forward to the challenge at Maritimo.

"I am happy that I have signed a one-season loan deal with Maritimo," said Mbesuma.

"It is a good club and they have received me well.

"Physically, I am now better."
