Artur Boruc's agent has defended the player after he was cautioned by police following an incident during an Old Firm clash last season.The Celtic goalkeeper was cautioned for a breach of the peace for making gestures at the Old Firm match at Ibrox in February.
Rangers fans complained to police that Boruc made gestures to the crowd during Celtic's win at Ibrox.
Police investigated the incident and passed a report on to the Procurator Fiscal who cautioned the Pole earlier this week.
The player's representative Radoslaw Osuch admitted Boruc was surprised by the police investigation and that the goalkeeper intended no offence.
"He was a little bit surprised (by the police investigation) because he told me he didn't want to hurt the Rangers supporters," Osuch told the Sunday Times.
"He normally crosses himself on the field, like most Polish players. I know him very well and I know he doesn't care about the religion of Rangers supporters.
"For sure he didn't (make the sign of the cross) especially."
Osuch insists the incident will not make Boruc consider his future at Celtic as the Polish international is happy at Parkhead.
"He will stay at Celtic, he is very happy there," added Osuch.
"I saw him one month ago when he was in Poland and I can tell you that he really feels like a Celtic player.
"It's not like another country, or another place to work now, after one year he is very close to Celtic."
