The 25-year-old impressed during a reserve team fixture on Tuesday and has put pen-to-paper on a short-term deal.
A number of Championship clubs have turned down the chance to sign the full back but Millwall boss Nigel Spackman has now offered him a contract.
Senda looked set to join Luton earlier in the summer but is now happy to have found a new home at Millwall.
"Naturally that was a blow at the time, because as far as I was concerned it was a done deal," Senda told the club's official website.
"But having received an offer from Millwall at the 11th hour I have jumped at the chance because this is a big club with ambitions to go places."
Senda goes straight into Millwall's squad for the weekend clash against Blackpool.
