Perrotta pens new deal

Roma ace Simone Perrotta has signed a new deal at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Italian World Cup winner has agreed a deal to keep him at Roma until the summer of 2011.

Perotta's existing contract was due to expire in 2008 and Roma have moved to tie him down a new long-term deal.

The former Chievo star has been rewarded for his fine form for Roma with new improved terms.

Perrotta has established himself as a key figure for Roma since arriving in the Italian capital in 2004.
