Pancrate prolongs PSG deal
Fabrice Pancrate has signed a new deal with Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain.
Winger Fabrice Pancrate has signed a new deal with Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain.The 26-year-old had been linked with an exit from Parc des Princes over the summer due to a lack of playing time last season, with Manchester City and Sheffield United both rumoured to be keen.
However he has forced his way into coach Guy Lacombe's plans this season and has now committed himself to the capital club until 2009.
News of Pancrate's new contract will come as a boost to PSG before they take on bitter rivals Marseille in Le Championnat at the weekend.
Pancrate joins Pedro Pauleta, Edouard Cisse, Jerome Alonzo and Sylvain Armand in signing new deals at Parc des Princes since the end of last season, as PSG try to construct a competitive team.
