Bundesliga Round-up

Bochum moved off the bottom of the Bundesliga table after a 2-1 win over Bielefeld.

Bochum moved off the bottom of the Bundesliga table after a 2-1 home victory over Arminia Bielefeld.

Bielefeld were in high spirits following their shock win over Bayern Munich last weekend and they started well taking the lead after just 11 minutes through Czech defender Petr Gabriel.

However, Bochum battled back to claim victory with two second half goals.

Fabio Junior fired home the equaliser on the hour before Ivo Ilicevic claimed victory 17 minutes from time.

Energie Cottbus missed the chance to go level with Bundesliga leaders Bayern and Schalke after being held to a 1-1 by Nurenberg at Stadion Der Freundschaft.

Nurnberg went ahead after just ten minutes through Jawhar Mnari but just as the visitors looked set for victory the home side levelled when Steffen Baumgart scored with just seven minutes left.
