Utrecht favour Fortune

Utrecht have handed a new deal to French forward Marc-Antoine Fortune.

The striker is an integral member of Foeke Booy's side, having arrived at the club in 2005, and he has done enough to earn a deal which ties him to the club until 2009.

Booy has been thrilled with Fortune's contribution at the club and is hopeful he will continue to thrive.

"After a difficult start at his first season, he is now showing his class," Booy told the club's official website. "He is playing on a high level weekly and has a major position within our team.

"He scores his goals and is also a good passer. FC Utrecht can get more pleasure out of Marc in the future."
