Whites to feature trialist
Leeds United will field trialist Giorgos Koltzos against Barnsley on Wednesday.
Giorgos Koltzos will be hoping to win a deal with Leeds United when he turns out for their reserves against Barnsley on Wednesday. The left back, who is of Australian-Greek descent, has been with the Elland Road club since the start of the week under the watchful eye of John Carver.
Caretaker boss Carver is keen to bolster his defensive options and is set to clinch the signing of Sheffield United's Alan Wright on loan on Thursday.
Koltzos, 30, will line up alongside a number of players recovering from injury as Richard Cresswell and Frazer Richardson battle back from a spell on the sidelines.
Cresswell is yet to kick a ball for Leeds' first-team this season, but could be in line for a place on the bench against Stoke this weekend if he comes through the match unscathed.
