Celta Vigo are reportedly interested in signing Valencia midfielder Hugo Viana.
Celta Vigo are interested in signing Valencia midfielder Hugo Viana, according to reports emanating from Spain.The 23-year-old Portuguese player moved to the Estadio Mestalla from Newcastle United towards the end of last season.
But he has not settled with Che and looks surplus to requirements under coach Quique Sanchez Flores.
Celta are known to be in the market for a player of Viana's ilk and boss Fernando Vasquez could now move for the player in the January transfer window.
"Anything is possible, but I will know more in December," he revealed.
The Galician outfit are currently 12th in La Liga, but with Uefa Cup football still on offer at the Balaidos, they represent a relatively attractive prospect for incoming players.
