Cole fires warning to rivals

Joe Cole claims Chelsea have not hit top form this season.

Jose Mourinho's side are currently level with Manchester United at the top of The Premiership - dropping just five points all season from their opening nine league games.

Cole believes while Chelsea's results have been impressive, they are still not at their flowing best following the summer captures of Andrei Shevchenko and Michael Ballack.

"You can't argue with the results," explained Cole.

"It's been a positive start but I think we'd be the first to admit that we're not firing on all cylinders yet.

"There's definitely more to come."
