Darcheville hints at exit
Striker Jean-Claude Darcheville has hinted he may be forced to quit Bordeaux.
Bordeaux striker Jean-Claude Darcheville has hinted he may be forced to quit the Ligue 1 outfit unless the club's supporters get off his back. The former Nottingham Forest ace has come under fire from Girondins supporters this term for the side's position of eighth in the table.
However, Darcheville is far from happy with the tension that has arisen and has started to demonstrate his displeasure by not celebrating his goals.
Darcheville's agent Karim Djaziri has now stated that while the 31-year-old does not want to leave Bordeaux, he may have little choice but to move elsewhere.
"The fans aren't supporting him," agent Djaziri told skysports.com.
"He just wants to tell them to stop. That is why he's not celebrating his goals anymore.
"He is fed up with the situation as it affects his game.
"Jean-Claude does not want to leave Bordeaux. He's been here for five years.
"But he is sad when his family come to the stadium and hear the fans.
"If you want him to leave, then go on.
"A number of clubs wanted to sign him last summer, and as his start of season has been very good, they still want him."
