Edwards pens Lions deal
Goalkeeper Preston Edwards has inked his first professional contract with Millwall.
Young goalkeeper Preston Edwards has inked his first professional contract with League One side Millwall.The England Under-18 shot-stopper was originally due to sign the deal on October 7 when The Lions faced Bournemouth but after he sustained a shoulder injury in training it was put on hold.
The 17-year-old finally put pen-to-paper on the contract, which secures his future at The Den until June 2009, on Thursday.
He will now hope to break into caretaker manager Willie Donachie's side.
