Rosenberg's French hope
Ajax's Markus Rosenberg hopes his display for Sweden impressed his suitors.
Ajax striker Markus Rosenberg is hoping that his display in Sweden's 1-0 defeat against the Ivory Coast in Le Mans was enough to impress his French suitors.
The talented 24-year-old, who bagged 12 goals in his first season in the Eredivisie, has been relegated to a place on the bench this season and has now confirmed that he wants to leave the Amsterdam ArenA in January.
"At the moment, it's not good at all," he told Swedish newspaper Expressen.
"It is obvious that I want to play, and so I am very displeased. With my current situation the way it is, it's good to get a chance to prove myself in this kind of game."
