Diouf: I won't change

Bolton's El Hadji Diouf insists he is not about to change his style play.

The Senegalese star often infuriates opposing fans with his play and antics alike - but the African insists that he has no intention of changing his game.

"I change nothing, maybe when I change something it is not me," he told Sky Sports News.

"The people who know me - like me, the people who know me - know I am not a bad boy, I am hard on the pitch because I am a bad loser. But this is good as my dad tells me this.

"I will just continue to play my way and just do my best."

Diouf says that he is singled out by referees - but he does not let it affect him.

"If it is Gary Speed or Kevin Nolan they give it to them, but because it is me [they don't] - this is Diouf's life," he added.

The Bolton forward also stressed that he loves the fact that he is often booed by opposing fans.

"I like it when the fans boo me, because fans never boo a bad player," he said.

"When the fans boo me it gives me more power - I am just here to play for my football club and do my best."
