Novo rules out Bhoys move
Rangers star Nacho Novo has rejected rumours that he could make a move to Celtic.
Rangers star Nacho Novo has rejected rumours that he could make a shock move to Old Firm rivals Celtic. The Spaniard revealed he is aware of rumours linking with him a switch across Glasgow.
Novo struggled to establish himself in Paul Le Guen's plans earlier in the season, but he has recently won favour with the Ibrox boss after a string of impressive performances.
The 27-year-old has ruled out making a move to Celtic, but admitted he would like the chance to play in his native Spain.
"It would delight me to return to Spain but the problem is they always value the foreigners more than their home players," Novo told Radio Marca.
"I am rated higher abroad than in my home country.
"I hope to return to Spain soon. I have been away five years and already it starts to feel like too much time.
"Despite this, I am happy in Glasgow. There have lately been rumours of my signing for Celtic.
"That would never happen. Rangers always behaved very well with me and I would not do that to the fans.
"But I have much desire to return to Spanish football."
