Paco Flores has been appointed the new coach of Gimnastic de Tarragona.
Gimnastic de Tarragona have appointed Paco Flores as their new manager.The experienced former Espanyol and Zaragoza boss will now be charged with the daunting task of trying to save Nastic from the drop.
The Catalan minnows currently lie bottom of La Primera having taken just five points from their opening 12 games since promotion last summer.
Luis Cesar Sampedro was axed on Sunday after the club's ninth league defeat of the season - a 3-2 home reverse to Mallorca.
Nastic have moved quickly to install Flores and will hope his top-flight knowledge will help revive the club's fortunes.
Flores' finest achievements to date have been winning the 1999/2000 Copa del Rey with Espanyol and guiding Zaragoza to promotion in the 2002-03 campaign.
