Chelsea striker Andrei Shevchenko has insisted that he is not going anywhere.Shevchenko has not managed to find his best form since joining Chelsea in the summer and was quoted as saying earlier this week that he would be prepared to return to Italy if things did not work out - later claiming his words had been misrepresented.
However, the Ukrainian has now stressed that he has no intention of leaving and is focused solely on performing well for Chelsea.
"It was a big, big decision to come here - so why would I want to leave after only three months?" he said.
"I never even thought of going back to Milan. I want to win something important with Chelsea. That's my objective."
Shevchenko accepts that he has been below par so far this season but he is confident that the goals will soon start flying in.
"I know why my performances haven't been what I want and I am working hard to put it right," he said.
"It's difficult coming to a new country. When you have played for seven years in Milan and you have got used to the culture, the way of life and the language it's normal that there are problems when you change.
"But I like living in London and I am feeling good now.
"When I am really at my top level I will have no problems at all."
Looking ahead to Sunday's game against Arsenal, Shevchenko said there was no danger of Chelsea underestimating The Gunners despite their stuttering recent run.
"It's a big game for Arsenal but also for us," he explained.
"If we win there would be a big difference between us and Arsenal but we know it won't be easy. They are a big team with big young talents."
