Henrique linked with return home

Carlos Henrique is rumoured to be on his way back to former club Flamengo.

Henrique is still part-owned by Flamengo and reports in France claim the Brazilian side may decide to bring him home.

The Brazilian stopper has failed to make an impression on Les Girondins coach Ricardo and has featured in just seven games in Ligue 1 this term.

Henrique was the subject of an offer from a top European club over the summer but remained with Bordeaux.

However, his future at the Stade Chaban-Delmas remains uncertain and Flamengo are thought to be looking into their options.

One possibility would be for Henrique to return to his former club before being sold on to rivals Athletico Mineiro.
