Kelly hopes on Johnson

Leicester boss Rob Kelly is confident Andy Johnson will be back before too long.

The combative former West Brom man had a loose piece of the bone in his ankle removed last week in what was a successful operation.

Johnson has already returned to the club's training ground this week and having made steady progress, Kelly is hopeful that he is on course to return on schedule.

"Andy will now begin the next phase of his treatment," Kelly told the club's official website.

"We will know a lot more about where Andy is over the next couple of days.

"Hopefully he will heal quickly."
