Zambrotta blow for Barca
Gianluca Zambrotta is set to be sidelined for about a month with a leg injury.
Barcelona defender Gianluca Zambrotta is set to be ruled out of action for about a month after tearing a muscle in his left leg.The Italian full-back sustained the injury during Barca's 1-0 defeat to Internacional in the final of the Fifa Club World Cup in Yokohama.
He will now miss Barcelona's final league match of 2006 against Atletico Madrid and is almost certain to still be unavailable for the trip to Getafe on January 7.
"The player will undergo further tests when the team returns to Barcelona," said the club in a statement.
"It is expected he will be sidelined for approximately four weeks."
