Stenman staying put
Bayer Leverkusen have told Fredrik Stenman they no longer want to off-load him.
After talks, Bayer Leverkusen have told Fredrik Stenman they no longer want to off-load him.Bayer had originally informed the Swedish left-back that they would be looking to move him on in January's transfer window.
Stenman was never that keen to quit the club and it has now been decided that he will remain.
"It is correct, I will stay at Leverkusen," Stenman told Expressen.
"It's now up to me to fight to regain my place in the side."
Stenman's agent Patrick Mork confirmed that crunch talks with the club has lead to an agreement that the full-back would stay in Germany.
"We have agreed with sports director Michael Reschke to explain to the six clubs interested in Fredrik that he is no longer for sale." confirmed Mork.
