Aston Villa midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba has been linked with a return to France with Lille.According to reports in France, Claude Puel's side look set to hand the Cameroon international a chance to revive his career with the Ligue 1 club.
The former Nantes and Manchester United man has had a nightmare spell with Villa, having been frozen out of manager Martin O'Neill's plans this season.
The 25-year-old confirmed on his own official website that he was speaking to interested clubs regarding a January move.
"I want to take a little minute of my precious time to try to make clearer my situation because there have been a number of rumours about my career and transfer," Djemba-Djemba told his official website.
"I am actually in Europe where I will meet with clubs interested in my services."
