Adams looks to keep Currie

Coventry manager Micky Adams is hoping to retain the services of midfielder Darren Currie.

Coventry manager Micky Adams is hoping to retain the services of midfielder Darren Currie after his loan spell with the club ended on Monday.

Currie was on loan with The Sky Blues from Ipswich, and Adams has revealed he is in talks about extending the midfielder's stay.

Adams said: "We'll be talking to Ipswich about Darren Currie so we'll see what happens."

Meanwhile defensive duo Clive Clarke and Richard Duffy have returned to Sunderland and Portsmouth respectively following loan spells with The Sky Blues.

The pair, who have been regulars in the side since joining in October, both missed the previous two games against Southend and Leeds through injury.
