Alemannia Aachen striker Jan Schlaudraff will join Bayern Munich at the end of the season. The 23-year-old Germany international revealed his decision to join the German champions after rejecting alternative offers from Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.
"I think that this is the right move for me. Munich will give me the chance to continue my development and to play in Europe," Schlaudraff confirmed.
He has agreed a three-year deal at the Allianz Arena reportedly worth around é¼2 million per year.
Bayern, who will pay é¼1million for Schlaudraff's services, originally wanted to lure him away from Aachen during the winter transfer winter, but the Bundesliga new boys were determined to keep their top asset at the Tivoli Stadium to help them stay in the top flight.
"I'm looking forward to the next six months and will do all I can to go to Munich from a first division team," he added.
"The time at Alemannia was the most important in my career so far."
