Bradford add Daley

Bradford City have signed Jamaican international Omar Daley on an 18-month deal.

Bradford City have signed Jamaican international Omar Daley on an 18-month deal.

The 25-year-old moves to Valley Parade from American side Charleston Battery, having had a spell in England in the past.

Daley spent the 2003/04 season with Reading without ever forcing his way into Alan Pardew's plans, before moving to Preston on a six-month deal.

He returns to England to link up with fellow Reggae Boyz Donovan Ricketts and Jermaine Johnson at Colin Todd's Bradford.

"You look at how JJ has excited everybody at the football club this season and this boy is going to do the same," Todd told the Telegraph & Argus.

"It's another good coup for us because he is very talented player and I think we've got another winner on our hands."

Daley will link up with The Bantams next week in time for the visit of Yeovil at the end of the month.
