Robins land Connor

Cheltenham Town have signed Paul Connor from League One rivals Leyton Orient.

The 28-year-old moves to Whaddon Road in a deal worth £25,000 and ends his spell with The O's after less than a year with the East London club.

The former Middlesbrough, Cambridge United, Rochdale and Swansea City hit-man will now aim to help John Ward's side get out of relegation trouble.

"I'm very pleased that we have been able to do this deal to bring Paul Connor to the club," Ward told Cheltenham's official website.

"He will provide us with another option up front and I'm sure he will form a good relationship with our other forward players."
