Agent: MLS want Ronaldinho
MLS have reportedly set their sights on Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho.
Major League Soccer have set their sights on a second sensational signing just days after sealing the capture of David Beckham. They are interested in bringing in Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho, according to the player's brother and agent Roberto de Assis.
LA Galaxy convinced Beckham to sign a lucrative five-year deal earlier this month and it is being claimed the league are keen to raise the profile of the game in America further.
"We know that in the USA they want Dinho," said de Assis.
"We know their intentions but it is still too soon to speak about this."
However, de Assis has insisted that Ronaldinho is happy at Barcelona and will not be leaving in the foreseeable future.
"No problems exist between Ronaldinho and Barcelona so I can discard an imminent exit."
