Donald signs Ajax deal

Mitchell Donald has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with Ajax.

The 18-year-old was one of the Amsterdam club's standout performers during a recent training camp in South Africa.

Henk ten Cate (pictured) has rewarded the youngster with a contract at the Amsterdam Arena until 2011.

Donald has come through the youth system at Ajax and is in his ninth season with the Dutch giants.
