Cherries land young Toffee

Bournemouth have signed Everton youngster Bjarni Vidarsson on a month's loan.

Bournemouth have signed Everton youngster Bjarni Vidarsson on a month's loan.

The Iceland Under 21 international made the temporary move to The Cherries after being a regular fixture in Everton's reserves.

The 18-year-old has yet to appear in David Moyes's first team, but impressed Dean Court boss Kevin Bond during a recent friendly between The Toffees and Bournemouth.

Vidarsson will fill the gap left by the departure of Southend United striker James Lawson after his Cherries loan expired last weekend.

The talented teenager will be available for Saturday's important League One clash against Leyton Orient.
