Poul Hubertz has revealed that he will stay at Millwall for the rest of the season.
Millwall striker Poul Hubertz has revealed that he will stay at The Den for the rest of the season before taking stock of his situation in the summer.The Dane has struggled to make an impact in recent weeks, but his stock rose on Saturday as he scored the winner against Chesterfield.
Things could have panned out differently, as he had considered heading out on loan but his request was knocked back by the club.
Hubertz is now looking to make the most of his chances between now and the end of the season.
"I am going to do my best and hope I can take my chance when it comes," he told the South London Press.
"I have spoken to the boss about going out on loan as there are plenty of teams in this division who want me and anyway the club said 'no'.
"I am definitely going to stay now until the end of the season, then we'll see what happens," added Hubertz who has another 18 months to run on his commitment with Millwall.
