Dublin: United still the best
Dion Dublin believes Man Utd's all-conquering 90s side is still better than Chelsea.
Veteran striker Dion Dublin believes Manchester United's all-conquering side in the 1990s is still ahead of Chelsea's current crop of superstars. The Norwich City ace, who played for The Red Devils between 1992 and 1994, is set to line up against Jose Mourinho's champions on Saturday.
The Canaries go head-to-head with The Blues at Stamford Bridge this weekend following their thrilling midweek extra-time win over Blackpool.
Dublin acknowledges Chelsea have a vast amount of quality in their squad, although he feels they are still behind United in terms of the Premiership's greatest.
He said: "Chelsea are up there with some of the greatest teams I will have played for or against, but I find it hard to look past the United team I was involved in with Robson, McClair, Hughes and Cantona.
"I find it hard to look past that one, but Chelsea are probably a very close second or third with Arsenal in there as well. That United team, though, was the best ever known in the Premiership."
Norwich have it all to do to find a way past Chelsea this weekend and Dublin has admitted it would be a massive surprise if they shock Mourinho's troops.
"It would be a massive shock to us if we could beat Chelsea," he continued.
"It would probably beat Cambridge getting to the quarter-finals as well because of the structure of the game at the moment.
"I possibly don't think I'd get another chance like this. We're up against the most expensive squad in the world, but it's the FA Cup and we shall see."
