Torquay snap up Gordon

Dean Gordon's search for a new club has ended with a move to Torquay.

The full-back has not played league football since leaving Blackpool 12 months, but he impressed Gulls manager Keith Curle in training this week after being invited for a trial at Plainmoor.

He has joined the club on a non-contract basis and is available to play in Saturday's League Two clash with Hartlepool.

Steven Reed, meanwhile, has left Torquay by mutual consent.

The defender, who joined Torquay from Yeovil last May, has moved to non-league side Tiverton.
