Gulls bring in Kerry

Torquay have signed Lloyd Kerry on a one-month loan deal from Sheffield United.

The teenage midfielder has come up through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane and has been a regular in Sheffield United's reserve side this season.

He has now been sent out to get his first taste of Football League action and could make his Torquay debut against Hartlepool on Saturday.

Gulls boss Keith Curle, who played for Sheffield United, swooped for Kerry after he impressed on trial at Plainmoor this week.

Curle has also been casting his eye over fellow Blades prospect Nick Travis.
