Pearson: Bridges has Hull future
Adam Pearson has dismissed talk that Michael Bridges' Hull career is at an end.
Adam Pearson has dismissed suggestions that Michael Bridges' Hull career is at an end.The former Leeds striker was sent off during Wednesday's reserve clash with Rotherham for headbutting an opponent.
His actions drew criticism from Hull manager Phil Brown and led to suggestions that he would be sent packing from The KC Stadium.
Pearson says Bridges will be hit with a fine, but remains firmly part of the club's plans.
"It's a load of rubbish and whether someone has some sort of agenda here I don't know," said Pearson.
"Hundreds of players get sent off all the time. Michael will be fined a week's wages but that's it. There's nothing more to it.
"He's a member of the squad which is trying to help the club stay in the Championship."
