Uruguay's Dario Rodriguez will retire from international football after the Copa America.
Uruguay defender Dario Rodriguez has announced that he will retire from international football after this year's Copa America.Rodriguez currently plays club football for Bundesliga leaders Schalke, who he is contracted to until July 2008.
"I have decided to end my international duty after the Copa America is played in Venezuela," he said.
"After the Copa America I will not play for Uruguay anymore.
"Then I would like to continue my career in a Uruguayan team but first I have to finish my contract at Schalke that expires in 2008."
