Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet is committed to the French Champions and would like to extend his contract at the club.Coupet still has over a year to run on his current deal but is keen to get his future at the Stade Gerland secured soon.
However, The France international is being made to wait as chairman Jean-Michel Aulas negotiates with others first.
Juninho, Florent Malouda and Eric Abidal are all being linked with moves away, and Lyon are keen to tie their stars to new contracts.
"I am still under contract until next year. It is a pleasure to be here. I am going to give my maximum," Coupet told But.
"I am not the first case for the club. Some players will discuss their future after 31st March.
"I have already discussed my future with chairman Jean-Michel Aulas. I have a good relationship with him, we know how each other work. He knows that I won't be a problem for him, I am not putting pressure on.
"I am 34, and at that age people don't always trust you in France. Abroad, people ask themselves less questions. So I want to know if they trust me or if I have to go.
"I have no reasons to leave. It is a pleasure and an honour to play for Lyon."
Meanwhile, Coupet is gearing up for an end of season run as Lyon look to secure the French title for a sixth successive season.
"We have to bounce back after the elimination from the Champions League and the home draw (against Marseille)," he added.
"It is important to enjoy training together and to show desire to add trophies. Winning the league is something great."
