Birmingham's Cameron Jerome has been added to the England Under 21 squad.
Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome has been added to the England Under 21 squad following David Nugent's promotion to the senior team.Nugent could become the first Preston player to win an England cap since Sir Tom Finney if he appears against Israel, and his rapid rise has opened the door for Jerome.
The former Cardiff man has won seven caps for the Under 21s in the past and will now be hoping to add to his collection under stand-in boss Nigel Pearson.
Saturday's friendly clash with Italy will be the first game to be held at the new Wembley Stadium.
