Bury bring in Black Cat

Bury have snapped up Sunderland winger William Mocquet.

The Frenchman has joined the League Two strugglers on loan until the end of the season.

Mocquet is well down the pecking order at Sunderland and spent a spell on loan at Rochdale earlier this season.

Shakers boss Chris Casper believes Mocquet will be an exciting addition to his squad.

"I've been happy with the squad but William is very, very quick and he puts the balls in the box," said Casper.

Bury have also extended the loan stay of Crewe defender Darren Kempson until the end of the season.

Kempson, who initially joined Bury on a four-week loan deal last month, has impressed at Gigg Lane.
