"I left the ground with the claps of the English audience," beamed Pazzini.

"I didn't expect that reception. Sincerely I'am very pleased.

"That is real merit to the English culture.

"I didn't expected to score three times. I'm absolutely delighted.

"It has been a sensational day. It was beautiful playing at Wembley."

Coach Pierluigi Casiraghi was delighted to have helped open the new stadium.

"It is a very different stadium to the old Wembley, as that smell of wood has gone, but you couldn't create a modern structure like that," said Casiraghi.

"I really like it. When there will be 90,000 fans cheering on England, it will be very difficult to beat them!"
