"I have renewed my contract with Villarreal until 2010 because I am very comfortable here," said Forlan.
"The only thing that I have in mind is to end the season in the best way as possible and then have a good performance in the Copa America with the national team of Uruguay; and after that I will be on holiday
Villarreal have been linked with a move for Barcelona's Javier Saviola and Forlan has welcomed the club's interest in the Argentine.
"I would like to play with Saviola. He is an excellent player but I think that for the moment it's only a rumour," added Forlan.
"If the opportunity really appears it would very good for us to have Saviola in the team."
