Barca keen on Palacio

Barcelona officials are reportedly to visit Boca Juniors about Rodrigo Palacio.

Barcelona officials are to visit Boca Juniors during the Copa America to discuss a move for Rodrigo Palacio, according to reports in the Argentine press.

Boca rejected an offer from Barcelona earlier this season and president Mauricio Macri declared that it would take 'the biggest offer in the world' for them to sell Palacio.

Barcelona are reportedly mulling over a ‚é¼10million (£6.8million) move, although Boca are likely to want a substantially better offer.

The two clubs are believed to have held telephone conversations and representatives are set to meet in person at the end of the season.

Palacio, the best paid player in Argentine football, has earned rave reviews for his performances this season.
