Abidal hints at Valencia move

Lyon defender Eric Abidal has admitted he would consider a move to Valencia.

The French international's future at Stade Gerland has been the subject of intense speculation for some time with a number of clubs believed to be tracking him.

Abidal still has two years to run on his current contract and he admits Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas will decide his future.

"Valencia are an option," Abidal told Telefoot.

"I have a little idea which I have submitted to president Aulas.

"He`s the one who for now will decide on the two remaining years of my contract."
