Bennett handed Cup final
The FA has confirmed that Steve Bennett will referee this season's FA Cup final.
The Football Association has confirmed that Steve Bennett will referee this season's FA Cup final between Manchester United and Chelsea.Bennett has been handed the honour of officiating at the first cup final at the new Wembley Stadium.
Bennett has previously been linesman and fourth official at the 1995 and 2001 finals respectively, whilst he also took charge at the 2005 Carling Cup final.
His assistants will be Peter Kirkup and Dave Bryan, with Howard Webb the fourth official.
