Maoulida happy with role

Marseille striker Toifilou Maoulida is happy to continue in his role in Albert Emon's side.

Maoulida has been a regular this season as l'OM chase UEFA Champions League qualification and prepare for the Coupe de France final against Sochaux.

The former Monaco front man has appeared in over 30 games for Marseille and hopes to end the season on a high, both personally and as a team.

"The ideal would be to qualify for the Champions League and to win the Coupe de France, but the toughest is to come," Maoulida told But.

"I don't want us to make the same errors as last season. We have earned experience.

"Bringing the French cup to Marseille would be a dream. We are just one step from victory. We won a fight against Sochaux (4-2 last Sunday) but haven't won the war yet.

"I have been a starter four times in the last five matches, I can't complain.

"When Djibril (Cisse) is on the bench, he doesn't complain, because we know that the team needs everybody.

"There are still four matches remaining so we have to continue to concentrate. The 11 that play must give their maximum, the substitutes too."
