Brentford boss Terry Butcher has handed defender Karleigh Osborne a new two-year deal.Youth product Osborne, 19-years-old, has made 22 appearances since breaking into Brentford's first team ranks in 2004.
Upon his appointment as Brentford boss, Butcher has wasted little time in assessing his playing ranks, quickly coming to the conclusion Osborne is a player he would like to work with.
"Last season (when Brentford were relegated) was a bad time for everyone, but I am determined to move on from that," said Osborne.
"We can only move up now, and I am looking forward to working with Terry (Butcher) and (assistant) Andy (Scott) when pre-season training starts next week."
