Hill frustrated over Le Fondre

Rochdale are having problems in pushing through a deal for Adam Le Fondre.

Le Fondre scored 11 goals in League Two last season, including four during a three-month loan spell at Spotland.

Hill is trying to sign the highly-rated 20-year-old but concedes that he is making no progress at present.

"We have reached something of a stalemate with regards to Adam and it is a question now of pooling our resources, collecting our thoughts and seeing if there is a way we can lure Adam from Stockport," Hill told the Rochdale Observer.

The Rochdale manager nevertheless feels he has assembled a good group of players for next season.

"I believe we have a tremendous squad for this time of year," he said.

"And the pre-season programme is all planned in terms of what we will be doing, how and why."
