Simao flattered by Atleti link

Simao Sabrosa says he is flattered to be linked with a move to Atletico Madrid.

Atletico are believed to be chasing the Portuguese international as they look to spend some of the money from the sale of star striker Fernando Torres.

Benfica are determined to keep Simao and insist they will only sell the winger for a top offer.

Simao, who has a contract at the Estadio da Luz until 2012, admits he is flattered by Atletico's interest but that he has not heard anything from the Spanish club.

"The interest of Atletico Madrid is a pride for me, but really I have not spoken to anybody about this subject," Simao told the Portuguese press.

"I only have the news that is in the press.

"Now I am happy in Benfica, but if an interesting offer appears it is normal that anything is possible in the world of football."
